PURPLE LEADERSHIP – A CRITICAL MANAGEMENT SKILL FOR THE FUTURE

Course for experienced managers.

All managers face multiple and rapid changes, whether it is technological demands, digitalization, market disruptions, sustainability, the need to attract enough employees or managing young employees with a new mindset.

The key to successfully leading in the new era is to become aware that it requires a mindset shift on what a good leadership culture is. The new mindset has a key component: the ability to lead with the combination of blue and red approaches – exemplified by; combining speed with process, combining decision-making with co-creation, combining short and long term, combining masculine and feminine leadership approaches (approaches not gender).

The Teacher

Tina Moe

Tina has over 20 years of corporate leadership experience, including Senior Vice President roles in the pharmaceutical, engineering, automation and IT consulting industries in companies such as Novo Nordisk, NNE and ALECTIA, with responsibility for up to 750 employees and revenues in excess of €1 billion.

In 2016, she reinvented her career and developed the “Management of the Future” concept. This is described in the book “Leadership of the Future – how to lead in a world that looks nothing like the past”. The central principle of purple leadership is the most innovative in her book and one of 7 leadership principles that are important for the leadership of the future.

Tina covers the areas of business management, sustainability, technology and rapid change. She has unique skills to unleash personal energy and potential and to find innovative perspectives and development opportunities in any situation.

Tina now works as a management consultant, keynote speaker and professional board member. She supports leaders, executives and boards in understanding the need for transformation of culture and leadership thinking for the new era.

Practicalities

The course is 1 day, from 9am-5pm including lunch. It is a mix of teaching, reflection and teamwork.
